Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small pieces of information a website stores in your browser and can receive on later requests. Local storage stays in your browser until removed. We use these technologies to provide requested features and, only where enabled and accepted, optional analytics.

Storage used by this app

The promotional site stores analytics preferences when you choose them. The game separately stores word-burst-words locally for custom word lists.

Optional analytics

Where analytics is configured, PostHog loads only after you accept using Consent Preferences. It processes page views, browser/device information and selected usage events. Session recording and automatic click/form capture are disabled. Analytics identifiers use memory rather than persistent browser storage. The site_consent cookie records accepted or rejected for up to 180 days; a local storage entry synchronises the choice across tabs. Rejecting has no effect on core features. Global Privacy Control disables optional analytics.

Changing your choice

You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Where optional analytics is available, use Consent Preferences to accept or reject it later. Refusing browser storage may stop sign-in, saved progress or preferences from working. External sites you choose to visit have their own policies.
